Forgot this pattern in IK until I saw a beautiful pair knit here. Inspired to find the magazine from a stack of reading on my desk and start knitting leaves this weekend.

  1. Your sock looks great in this yarn. I bought that issue of Interweave Knits just for this pattern.

  2. I’ve finished one sock from this pattern and need to cast on the second. I really enjoyed it. Love yours. What yarn are you using?

  3. Are those wooden needles? Or casein? And I’m loving that yarn for that pattern. Using greens for leaves is logical and beautiful.

  4. you have very beautiful photos in your blog! great sock.

  5. I love the pictures in your blog!
The sock looks great, what yarn is that?
ps your jaywalkers in the sweetgeorgia yarn are beautiful

  6. I completely forgot about that pattern too, though it was on my list to knit when I first saw it. Thanks for the reminder. I think I need to make myself a pair…

  7. Wow, the yarn is perfect with these! I am always concerned about using multi-colored yarn with lace, but it looks like you hit this just right! Great job. I am just starting my Embossed Leaves Socks, and can’t wait to finish them so I can wear them!
